E.O.N.
Expressing Our Nature
(Syracuse,NY) |
We are a non-profit
community service organization for the Transgendered Community
in Upstate N.Y. We offer Advocacy, Support, Friendship and Personal
Growth for FTM's, MTF's, Crossdressers, Transsexuals, their Friends
and Families. |
CDI
Cross
Dressers International
(NY City , NY) |
Crossdressers International
(CDI) is a non-profit, non-sexual group based in New York City.
We were founded in 1990 by S. Kristine James, a prominent transgender
activist on the national scene, and her good friend Karen Cioe.
We focus primarily on closeted male-to-female crossdressers,
offering a safe, informative, and welcoming means for CDs to
overcome their fears of being discovered and to happily and
constructively express their transgender selves. Our experience
suggests that a CD's female side is born inside each individual,
and therefore cannot be denied. Those who learn to express
their femme sides are some of the happiest people we've ever
met! For those who want to escape the closet, we can help.
But no one is ever pressured to do so. For those who are happy
as they are, CDI is a nice, safe place to be themselves.

Rochester
CD
Network
(Rochester
, NY) |
Located in the city of Rochester,
NY between Buffalo and Syracuse, NY. We are a non-sexual social
support group for cross dressers, transgendered and transsexuals
and their significant others. The Rochester CD Network was
established in 1985. Our goals are to help people come to terms
with their crossdressing and let them know that there are other
people who feel as they do, with the same drives and feeling.
They will learn they are not ALONE. The club tries to help
all crossdressers build and maintain a positive self-image
of their whole being. The RCD Network is NOT a dating service,
a marketplace for sexual liasions, or a therapy group. It is
a group of friends who want to express and develop their "other
self". |

3 goals that guide us as a group:
One – To be an information resource for transgendered
people in Buffalo & Western New York.
Two – To provide support and advice to all who are
transgendered, as well as family & friends.
Three – To be a social group – we never forget
that everyone needs to have friends and fun. |

and we try to deal with transsexualism in a wholistic fashion.
We view each member as a whole person having emotional, physical,
intellectual, and spiritual parts. We respect the opinions
and rights of all members, and agree to be able to disagree
while continuing to support each other. |
